ACFS Community Education and Feeding Scheme is a non-profit organisation (NPO) that promotes and supports inclusive education practices in schools and preschools throughout the country. The organisation’s core focus is the implementation of funded projects designed to sensitise and empower all role layers to an inclusive approach to educating the children in their community.
ACFS seeks to deepen its holistic engagement with children across all its communities in Gauteng, this position will assist the development of Pimville and Zola as centres of excellence as per the organisational strategy.

Pay Grade: Junior management level as per ACFS’s Remuneration Policy Framework
 
Duties & Responsibility

  • Coordinate the delivery of ACFS’s holistic programmes at each centre
  • Supervise Centre Staff and coordinate logistics
  • Supervision and coordination of all field and centre based activities.
  • Coordinate the day to day running and administration of Centres
  • Identify and on board child and adult beneficiaries
  • Establish a well-documented early identification, assessment, monitoring and home visits to monitor children and families

  • Provide structured emotional support and safety nets to all vulnerable children
  • Coordinate health assessment and parent information workshops at each centre
  • Identify resources and stakeholders for supporting information days
  • Ensure the timely implementation of all ACFS activities at each centre
  • Participate in ACFS Campaigns and Advocacy outreach work
  • Support the development of child rights and education programmes
  • Feed project information into strategic planning processes as well as proposal development initiatives
  • Supervise and Monitor all centre Staff
  • Implement all ACFS special day activities according to the programme implementation plan.
  • Attend Weekly and monthly meetings with Programme Coordinator/Manager and Executive Director
  • Ensure M+E Tools are timeously completed and collated for the Programme managers
  • Timely monitoring of returns to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Timely monitoring of progress against Operation Plans and corrective action taken as necessary.
  • Keep track of reporting deadlines and requirements.
  • Reports to clearly indicate progress as well as deviations in relation to set goals and implementation plans
