Tutu Endorses Nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize

Tutu endorses three nominations for the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has endorsed three nominations for the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize.
 
The nominations are for the Aegean Solidarity Movement for welcoming thousands of refugees fleeing war-torn lands;  The Club of Rome, Dr Herman Daly and Pope Francis for the significant contributions to global understanding of sustainable development and The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation which has since 1982 campaigned globally to abolish nuclear weapons.
 
Tutu, a member of the of the Nuclear Peace Age Foundation's Global Advisory Council and a former recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, says the nominations represent collective responses to the realities of globalisation.
