The Southern African Internet Governance Forum (SAIGF) aims to ensure that the views and voices of Southern Africa are represented at the 2011 IGF and to contribute to the establishment of a coordinated and coherent framework for dealing with Internet governance issues in Southern Africa.
The SAIGF will identify, deliberate upon, and collate issues relating to the Internet, its governance and development in Southern Africa, and document suggested interventions for addressing such issues. The Southern African Internet Governance Forum (SAIGF) will be held from 1-3 September 2011 in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.
