The Role of Parliamentarians in Ending Child Marriage

‘The Role of Parliamentarians in Ending Child Marriage’ aims to provide Members of Parliaments (MPs) with an overview of what child marriage is, including its prevalence around the world, key drivers and consequences. Specific focus is placed on existing legal instruments that prohibit the practice, as well as concrete recommendations for MPs to take action, not only in Parliament, but also in their constituencies and internationally.
