Paper: Who Will Feed the Poor?

Who Will Feed the Poor? is a policy discussion paper that aims to stimulate debate about food security in the South African Development Community (SADC) region. The draft report was presented at the 4th SADC Civil Society Forum as part of civil society discussion towards the 28th SADC Summit of Heads of State, meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa, 16-17th August 2008. The paper was also presented at a public panel discussion on regional food security organised by the Southern Africa Trust to raise the level of public debate and awareness on the state of food security in southern Africa.
