Following the funding for HIV/AIDS: A Comparative Analysis of the Funding Practices of PEPFAR, the Global Fund and World Bank MAP in Mozambique, Uganda and Zambia is a paper that analyses the policies and practices of the world’s largest AIDS donors as they are applied in Mozambique, Uganda and Zambia.

Published by the Center for Global Development in the United States, the paper compares the programmes and policies of these donors against six key funding practices consistent with aid effectiveness principles, namely: working with the government, building local capacity, keeping funding flexible, selecting appropriate recipients, making the money move and collecting and sharing data.
