Elimination of Discrimination in Public Higher Education Institutions

The ‘Report of the Ministerial Committee on Transformation and Social Cohesion and the Elimination of Discrimination in Public Higher Education Institutions’ investigates discrimination in public higher education institutions, with a particular focus on racism, and makes appropriate recommendations to combat discrimination and promote social cohesion. The report is aimed at helping the Minister of Higher Education and Training and the key constituencies in higher education on the policies, strategies and interventions needed to combat discrimination and to promote inclusive institutional cultures for staff and students, which are based on the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution.
