EXPRESSION OF INTEREST:

YOU ARE HEREBY INVITED TO SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO RECEIVE FUNDING.

Knowledge Pele (KP) is an established research, development and advisory firm with an eight years’ track record and a nation-wide footprint. The organisation’s strategic driving force is to develop the economies of rural, township and peri-urban communities. The key to the organisations approach is the delivery of synergistic benefit to our clients, the communities that host them and their stakeholder ecosystem.

On behalf of a Trust that the organisation manages, Knowledge Pele is seeking registered and suitable community-based organisations (CBOs) to consider for funding. Through funded organisations, the Trust seeks to address the following key objectives:

  • Poverty eradication
  • Reduction in unemployment
  • Empowerment of end beneficiaries
  • Reduction in inequality
  • Improved access to opportunities
  • Make a verifiable impact

Knowledge Pele, therefore, seeks CBOs fitting the following criteria to submit expressions of interest:

  • CBOs operating in the following areas:
    • Musina, Vivo, All Days, Blouberg and surrounding areas
  • CBOs with programmes focused on disadvantaged women, disabled persons and/or community groups
  • Youth owned and/or managed organisations a bonus

Please send expression of interests (an email notifying your interest is sufficient) with a CBO profile to Bongani Makhubo at b.makhubo@knowledgepele.com [2] by the  25 of January 2021. Once received, a fund application form will be sent to suitable CBOs and a site visit will be conducted thereafter.

For any further information or queries, please contact Bongani Makhubo on 011 262 0515.

Kindly note that no late applications will be considered.
