Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual on a fixed term contract at the National Department of Health (In Pretoria) to fill the following position:

TECHNICAL ADVISOR: HIV SELF SCREENING (REF: 07/10/20)            R733 27per annum

The National Department of Health (NDoH) is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the implementation and scale-up of the HIV Self-Screening testing modality. The candidate will provide technical support for planning, data collection and analysis, strategy development, developing presentations and briefings, and coordination of stakeholders.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

1. Post graduate qualification in public health or relevant, MPH degree an added advantage
2. Experience working in HIV testing programme is highly recommended
3. Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong professional relationships in a challenging and multi-cultural environment and public sector
4. Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
5. Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ensure successful support of the HIVSS program in implementing sites
2. Provide technical guidance and oversight to all HIVSS programs, referrals and linkages activities
3. Support provincial department of health with trainings, implementation and data reporting ad management
4. Ensure that appropriate documents are available prior to implementation
5. Ascertain that HIVSS reaches the targeted audiences
6. Develop strong working relationships and manage NDOH key stakeholders in a total market approach
