The eastern regional Save the Children in Uganda (SCiU) has asked parents in Napak district to send their children to school, saying this will help build an upright society.

SCiU team leader, Vincent Abura, points out that formal education will serve as a transition to civilised communities.

Speaking at a function organised to enhance youth’s participation in games and sports for social interaction in Karamoja at Napak district headquarters, stated that the school- going children will interact with those who are not in school as a way of confidence building.
