Young in Prison South Africa (YIPSA)
Young in Prison South Africa (YIPSA) is a registered nonprofit organisation that offers a holistic programme, which seeks to prepare children and youth in conflict with law in making the transition from incarceration back into society through imparting life skills for behaviour change, offering skills development for effective reintegration and reducing reoffending.
YIPSA seeks to appoint an experienced and motivated individuals as Director, based at its Head Office in Cape Town.
The Director is responsible for the overall management and direction of the organisation and is accountable to the Board.
- Minimum of five years experience in a similar managerial position in the nonprofit sector with a proven track record in human resources management, financial management, programme development and management, and fundraising;
- Bachelor’s degree and excellent writing and communications skills;
- Experience in criminal justice reform or related fields and who are familiar with key issues in youth development will be given preference;
- Ability to demonstrate strategic leadership skills.
YIPSA offers a competitive remuneration package.
