The Pebbles Project is a registered nonprofit organisation that supports children, families and communities on the wine farms in and around Stellenbosch and Wellington. The work of the Pebbles project involves five main pillars: education, health, nutrition, protection and environment.

The Pebbles Project seeks to employ an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Special Needs Manager, based in Stellenbosch. 

The Pebbles Project Trust seeks to appoint a Project Coordinator, based in Stellenbosch. 

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing 10 Early Childhood Development and After-School Care facilities.   

This is a twelve-month renewable contract position based on performance. 
 
Requirements:

  • Degree in social work, psychology, sport, community development or education would be advantageous;
  • Minimum of two years working experience in one of the above mentioned fields;
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English;
  • Fully computer literate;
  • Have clean driving license and own car (this role involves extensive local driving);
  • Ability to work independently and as part of our great team;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, some weekends and evenings occasionally;
  • Attention to detail, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines to successfully deliver a diversity of objectives and demands;
  • Previous managerial experience would be advantageous.

Starting date: 1 April 2014 for a one-year period initially. 

Salary: R11 000 – R14 000 monthly depending on experience and skills.
