About Pastel Partner for NPOs
Accounting and financial management in Non Profit Organisations varies in a number of ways from the ways things are done in a business, and NPOs are often struggling to tweak and adapt traditional accounting packages for their often unique needs.
One of the most difficult challenges facing the NPO accounting team is reporting the same information in different ways for various organisational stakeholders and those having fiduciary responsibility. The Board requires a set of reports reflecting the overall financial position of the entity, whereas Programme Manager(s) require financial information (usually compared to budget) for their specific programme/project. Funders again require the same information, but often against different criteria, in different formats and their information distinguished from other donors/funders.
Dealing with this kind of challenges has become a lot easier with the new Pastel Parter for NPOs. This new software bundle has been developed in a partnership between Pastel, NGO Solutions and CMDS and contains several newly developed components put together with Pastel Partner and some other usefull add-ons. A web based online support provides i.e. regular new powerful NPO reporting templates to users, offers a range of ressources and training opportunities.
The bundle consists of the following components
- Pastel Partner Base
- Project Tracker Module
- NPO Language Module
- Business Intelligence Centre (BIC)
- Special combined Installation and NPO User Guide
