Mount Carmel Youth Centre: Youth Centre Manager

The Mount Carmel Youth Centre is a project that strives to provide space for social, educational, spiritual and sport activities for the benefit of children and youth.

The Mount Carmel Youth Centre seeks to appoint a Youth Centre Manager, based in Aliwal North, Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Centre by ensuring smooth running at all level;
• Oversee the quality of services delivered;
• Ensure finances are in line with budget;
• Ensure customers and employees are satisfied;
• Oversee the building maintenance;
• Ensure vehicles use and maintenance according to Centre rules;
• Manage staff;
• Plan the development of the Centre;
• Report quarterly and on demand to the Board;
• Report monthly on finances to the Diocesan Financial Administrator;
• Ensure that donors reports are properly managed by the Administration Officer;
• Manage the occupancy of the Centre
• Promote the Centre in the media;
• Promote the Centre to the businesses and other potential clients;
• Ensure good internal communication among staff;
• Work closely with the Administration Officer, Programme Officer and Assistants.
