Life Choices is a registered nonprofit organisation, committed to human profit through our work with youth and their families – we challenge mind-sets, inspire growth and create supportive environments in which youth can thrive and find solutions to their own life journeys.

Life Choices seeks to appoint a HIV Counselor and Facilitator, based in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will join the Life Choices - Health4Life programme. This programme is an HIV/AIDS prevention initiative.

Requirements:

Matric essential;
Background in lay-counselling/VCT counselling or psychology;
Passion for serving communities and working with youth;
Willing to learn and hardworking;
Excellent command of the English language, as well as isiXhosa ;
Strong communication, counselling skills;
Be willing to work under challenging circumstances;
Ability to work as part of a dynamic and driven team;
Ability to work under pressure and reach targets;
Be available to start working January 2015.

Salary: R4 000 per month.
