Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) is based in Cape Town and was founded in 2000, in the wake of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, with the purpose of building of fair, democratic and inclusive societies in Africa. IJR is an independent organisation located at the interface between civil society and academia. IJR employs a diverse team of professionals based at our office in Cape Town.
IJR seeks to appoint a mature, well organised individual as Receptionist, based in Cape Town.
The person will take full ownership for the reception area and proactively manage administrative tasks as part of the core team.
- Diploma in secretarial studies;
- Minimum of two years experience providing competent administrative support in a professional office environment;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to prepare and disseminate documentation;
- Good time management skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in English and at least one other South African language;
- Full computer literate in MSWord, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Acess and Outlook.
