Impumelelo 2010 Sustainability Awards

Entries are invited for the Impumelelo 2010 Sustainability Awards. The awards will coincide with the 10th anniversary celebrations. Having awarded 268 exceptional public service projects since 1999, the World Cup is the ideal platform to generate new thinking around sustainable development and poverty reduction. 2010 provides South Africans with the opportunity to change the way we live, produce, and consume.

2010 Sustainability Awards allows everybody to think creatively and innovatively about how we can become “greener” in all aspects of our lives. It is therefore with great pleasure we invite you to apply for the 2010 Awards. An Impumelelo Awards has become synonymous with excellence and dedication in the fields of poverty alleviation and community development. It is an acknowledgement of the contribution to our public life and civil society. For this reason, an Impumelelo Awards has become a much-covered award in government circles.

We take this opportunity to appeal for your participation in the 2010 Award cycle. Please read the criteria carefully. We accept projects from government, civil society, the private sector and projects that have formed partnerships in government.
