DG Murray Trust: Portfolio Manager

The DG Murray Trust is a South African grant-making foundation that has invested in South Africa’s potential since 1944. It has been redesigned to sharpen its catalytic edge and adopt a birth-to-adulthood programmatic approach to funding. The Trust's five programme areas are early childhood development to shape a new society, education to be able to read and write, connection to opportunity in education and the world of work, leadership for a winning nation, and inclusion of those most left out.

The DG Murray Trust seeks to appoint a Portfolio Manager, based in Cape Town.

S/he will drive DG Murray’s education portfolio with vigour and fresh ideas.

No experience in the education sector is required, but applicants need to be thrilled by the idea of contributing to DG Murray’s education improvement.

Requirements:

• University degree;
• Ability to make-it-happen (‘can-do attitude’).

The successful candidate will join an active and committed team as DG Murray seeks to identify and support catalytic projects that could boost our South Africa’s potential.
