Community Chest of the Western Cape: Competitions Administrator

The Community Chest of the Western Cape is a nonprofit, professional fundraiser, community investor and development organisation that support more than 520 social welfare and development organisations.

The Community Chest seeks to appoint a Competitions Administrator, based in Cape Town.

The person will report to a highly supportive Special Events and Competitions Manager. The key focus of this position is to keep all competitions records current. This responsibility spans from complying with National Lotteries requirements to overall corporate governance to detailing with the smallest of ticket sales.

The person will be tempered with other activities, such as sourcing competition prizes, designing and printing competition tickets, preparing mail shots and numerous other similar tasks.

Requirements:

• Senior certificate and a certificate or diploma qualification in business administration or equivalent will qualify for consideration;
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and financial literacy skills;
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans;
• Willingness to learn;
• Minimum of five years administration experience, ideally gained in a sale or marketing environment, will lend strong support to an application.
