CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR / TRAINER
WESTERN CAPE
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a provincial training programme which would include, planning, facilitating, quality assurance and exercising financial control.
- Assessing training needs of CBOs and NGOs and develop training modules to respond to training requirements of organisations.
- Ensure that training modules are relevant, up to date and in line with best practice.
- Assessing, evaluating, monitoring and supporting existing and new beneficiaries.
- Researching and communicating needs and trends in social development.
Requirements:
- Post Grade12 Degree in Social Work, together with your SA Council for Social Services Professions registration;
- Knowledge of SAQA, and NQF;
- Minimum of five years NGO experience (urban and rural);
- Budgeting/financial control (managing a cost centre);
- Community development and facilitation experience;
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet, Outlook);
- Adept communication skills (all levels, particularly government);
- Adult basic education techniques and training, skills development facilitation (accreditation desired, but not essential);
- Research, investigative and evaluative skills;
- Report writing experience;
- Adaptability (work in a team and/or independently);
- Willing and able to travel;
- Multi-linguistic ability (minimum of 2 local languages);
- Your own car (driver's licence essential).
