Gender Questions is a newly launched interdisciplinary academic journal that will be published bi-annually by the University of South Africa (UNISA) Press. The journal will serve as a forum for scholarly research on all aspects of gender studies, including feminist research, studies in masculinities, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) and queer studies.

Preference will be given to manuscripts with a solid base in gender theory which is coherently applied.

UNISA is calling for research articles and book reviews for the Gender Questions.

Research articles should be between 6 000 to 8 000 words. An abstract of approximately 200 words should be included, as well as 4 to 6 keywords.

Book reviews should be between 1 000 to 1 500 words.

Submissions should be in Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 line spacing and should adhere to the Harvard style of referencing.

Only edited electronic submissions in Microsoft Word or compatible format will be accepted.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by means of the double blind system.
