Call for Nominations: Hamlet 18th Annual National Award Banquet 2012 for the Field of Intellectual Disability

The Hamlet Foundation awards and the Clinix Health Group are the only national awards that honour people with an intellectual disability who have accomplished significant achievements and those who go the extra mile to help people who are intellectually disabled.

The Hamlet Foundation awards, in association with the Clinix Health Group, is calling for nominations from individuals, organisations, companies, staff members or post-humus, who have accomplished significant achievements, for the Hamlet 18th Annual National Award Banquet 2012 for the Field of the Intellectual Disability.

Awards criteria

A maximum of eight awards will be presented and will be as follows:

• 1 President Award;
• 7 Outstanding and/or Merit Awards.

Outstanding achievement Award: Will be given in recognition of excellent achievements of role players in the development and upliftment of the quality of life of persons who are intellectually disabled.

Merit Award: Will be given in recognition of the contribution of role players in the upliftment of the quality of life of persons with intellectual disability.

President Award: Will be awarded in the case of an exceptional nominee or achievement.

The winners will be announced on 2 November 2012 at a Gala Event to be held at Indaba Hotel Fourways, north of Johannesburg.
