ActionAid International: HRBA Logistics Support Officer

ActionAid South Africa seeks to appoint an HRBA Logistics Support Officer, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.  International Terms and Conditions of Service applies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an effective and efficient administrative and support function to the overall HRBA Team;
• Provide secretarial tasks for the Head of HRBA Programme Support and be the focal point for communications for the HRBA Team;
• Provide project management, communications, executive, administrative and logistical support as well as support with basic financial transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum six months administration management qualification coupled with at least two years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a large organisation and in the NGO/Non-profit sector;
• Comfortable with technology, and familiar with standard Microsoft Offices with typing speed of at least 45 WPM;
• Experience in basic financial administration is required, including requisitioning, reporting and information management;
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships with multi-cultural teams spanning multiple geographies;
• Attention to detail and ability to perform duties and resolve challenges independently through innovative thinking;
• Organisation skills;
• Commitment to living the values of ActionAid International.
