| Job overview/description | HOPE worldwide SA (HWSA) is a national NGO working in Early Childhood Development. HWSA is seeking a qualified, Senior Programme Manager (PM) to lead a four-year Learning through Play (LtP) project in South Africa. The project will be implemented by a consortium of NGOs. The Programme Manager will report directly to HWSA’s Deputy Country Director and will ensure the overall management of the project and oversee the implementation of key project activities throughout the targeted provinces. The PM will also oversee the work of the technical team and consortium partners and provide efficient project and operational support for the project team. |
| Responsibilities | Core responsibilities include; ensuring the appropriate staffing of the technical team, ensuring strong relationships with the donor, consortium partners and other relevant stakeholders including government, ensuring curriculum development, developing and managing implementation plans, ensuring careful programme monitoring and the technical implementation of high impact, proven interventions that meet stated goals and reporting requirements. |
