The Foundation is on a journey to becoming a National Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Centre of Excellence ensuring Communities’ access to clean and safe drinking water; Adequate and dignified sanitation facilities for vulnerable communities; Prevention of water sources contamination; and Promoting hands-washing for behavioral change on personal hygiene through; Business partnerships development for WASH, a socio-economic developmental model integrating water, sanitation and hygiene interventions through entrepreneurship and the NGOs’ sector as service delivery partners. Key strategic impact analysis resonates in Clean drinking water; Sanitation and hygiene; Water quality; Water use efficiency; Water resources management; and Ecosystems. In addition to Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) as primary activities of the RWF, Enterprise Development and Capacity Building of NGOs are key drivers of WASH and therefore RWF strategic intermediary activities. Secondary activities include; Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management; Rural Development; and Rand Water Cares.
Training and Development of NGOs is one of the projects implementing the Capacity Building of NGOs Programme of the RWF Impact Driven WASH 2030 Strategy. The project is aimed at creating an enabling environment within the NGOs sector empowering NGOs to become productive, effective and sustainable Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) service delivery partners through training on WASH Business Development and Management. Interested NGOs based in Gauteng Province are therefore invited to apply to participate in the RWF WASH business training and development programme to be offered by an accredited training service provide for a period of one (01) year. The training programme will be based on the outcome of skills audit to be undertaken on successful NGOs in this regard.
Interested NGOs should apply as follows:

- A portfolio of the organisation that includes the organisational profile (with pictures).
- A copy of constitution of the organisation and a certified copy of the Certificate of Registration/ Incorporation.
- Tax Clearance Certificate
- The CVs of the identified training delegates;
- Copies of statement of annual budget and annual reports of the previous 3 months;
- Stamped bank letter confirming the account details in the name of the organisation
- Copies of the two (2) latest audited reports if applicable;
- Governance and organisational structure and proof of non-profit nature of the organisation.
