HSPN is a registered South African based organisation led by health professionals in HIV discordant and concordant partnerships/marriages.

The main objective of the organisation is to promote community engagement in the HIV response to ensure people with HIV and communities are at the forefront of HIV prevention, treatment and care. The above is achieved by conducting HIV related training and mentoring sessions covering RTCQI, APN, Index testing, SCS/SRHR/Prep, Adherence Support and more for local NGO’s and CBO's.

Community engagement is achieved by coordinating community dialogues to cascade information down to the ground, behavioral change communication campaigns, train and mentor unemployed youth, promote volunteerism and link them to employment opportunities. Community based direct service delivery (Index testing. Linkage to care, support group facilitation focusing in stigma reduction, peer education workshops and awareness campaigns) are mostly rendered by HSPN employees openly living with HIV.
