Organisational Background

Joint Aid Management (JAM) is an African-founded and headquartered, Christian international humanitarian relief and development organisation currently operating in Angola, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Uganda and Sierra Leone. Globally, our footprint extends into affiliate offices in Canada, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, United States and Switzerland as well.

Since our inception, JAM has progressed as an organisation that reflects strong, expansive development. For more than three decades we have grown into an organisation that affects sustainable change through providing programmes to children who need support and communities that need help. Serving Africa is what defines us. We do not discriminate in terms of race, religion, gender, or political persuasion.
In line with JAM’s vision of Helping Africa help itself, our programmes are created to provide sustainable assistance for our beneficiaries across the African continent. Our programmes are built on the Complete Community Development Approach (CCDA), which ensures that we operate sustainable programmes that not only meet individuals’ immediate needs but also change the landscape of the community, leaving permanent and sustainable transformation.

The Oganisations programmes include Feeding, General Food Distribution, Water and Sanitation, Livelihood Support and Agricultural Development. We are reaching and impacting the lives of millions of people in remote communities in Africa.
