AMANDLA EduFootball (AMANDLA) is a South African nonprofit organisation with programme sites in Gauteng and the Western Cape. AMANDLA’s mission is to create safe spaces that bring together the power of football and learning to empower youth and change lives.
AMANDLA EduFootball seeks to appoint a Regional Operations Director, to be based in South Africa.
The Regional Operations Director (Safe-Hub) will lead operational activities for a region within the Safe-Hub business unit in line with the AMANDLA and Safe-Hub strategy; and the defined standards for the business unit (Programmatic, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing and, Monitoring and Evaluation). Translate the strategic objectives into operational plans and manage the region in the implementation of these plans; whilst overseeing a high quality participant and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Honour’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Commerce, Development, Education or other relevant/related field
- Six years’ experience in Operational Management in a service-focussed environment, with one year at Senior Management level
- Experience of working in youth development, education or with disadvantaged young people
