MatCH (Maternal, Adolescent and Child Health), an independent division of Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Ltd is an indigenous South African public benefit organization based in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) province, affiliated to the University of the Witwatersrand. MatCH is a grantee of the USAID funded Accelerating Program Achievements to Control the Epidemic (APACE) Project operating in four districts in KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape.

The objective of this call is to solicit proposals from suitably qualified and experienced organizations to act as a sub-recipient or fixed agreement recipient to implement high yield community HIV testing services and/or adherence clubs in eThekwini, Harry Gwala and Msunduzi in KwaZulu-Natal and Alfred Nzo in the Eastern Cape.
Specific programme overview:

  •  Increase uptake of community-based HIV testing services with effective linkage to care and treatment among most at-risk individuals, priority populations and undiagnosed HIV-positive individuals in targeted communities/areas, and/or
  •  Expand the Central Chronic Dispensing and Distribution program by implementing and conducting Community Adherence Clubs, to improve access to medicines in communities.

The call is open to community-based (CBO), Faith-based (FBO), or not for profit organizations (NPO)/PBOs.
