Yeast City Housing
Yeast City Housing is the first social housing company in the City of Tshwane and one of the first in South Africa. The Organisation operates within the framework of the Social Housing Act. Yeast City Housing mandate is to ensure decent, affordable housing, and to contribute to urban regeneration and social inclusion through well-managed social housing.
The Yeast City Housing would like to invite interested candidates to apply for positions to serve as Board members.
This role is voluntary.
The Board of Directors has the ultimate responsibility for the governance of Yeast City Housing, Oversee and guide the company’s management and business. The Board also provides oversight with respect to the strategic direction and key policies of the company.

Board member is on a voluntary capacity but Yeast Board may compensate Board members for direct expenses, incurred while performing duties related to the work of the company, travelling expenses and attending any conferences. The services are mostly required after hours (from 17h00) on a quarterly basis to attend board meetings but not limited to ad-hoc meetings that the board may call.
