The Badisa Children Foundation, is an independent entity that has been established as a funding vehicle to raise funds for child protection services rendered by Badisa. 

Badisa Children Foundation seeks to appoint a Coordinator, to be based in Cape Town.

Salary: Negotiable salary supplemented by a medical and retirement scheme, as well as generous leave benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage processes, in conjunction with the management of homes for the elderly and disabled and service centres
  • Liaise with local congregations, boards of control, state departments and community
  • Research regarding care of the elderly and disabled
  • Establish procedures, policies and procedure guidelines
  • Compile statutory requirements
  • Develop integrated elderly and disable care services

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in the field of service delivery to the elderly and disabled
  • Facilitation skills
  • Ability to communicate on all levels, to think strategically and to work as member of a team, as well as proven leadership skills
  • Registration with the South African Council for Social Services Professions is compulsory
  • Computer skills
  • Must be prepared to travel
