The Bantwana Initiative of World Education, Inc. (www.bantwana.org) seeks candidates for multiple positions for an anticipated USAID-funded program to prevent new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among orphans and vulnerable children and adolescent girls and young women. The positions are: Chief of Party; Deputy Chief of Party; Finance & Administration Director; Social Welfare & Linkages Advisor; Clinical Services Advisor; and Monitoring, Evaluation & Strategic Information Advisor. Positions will be based in Maseru, Lesotho.
The Chief of Party is responsible for overseeing high-impact, scalable, and sustainable programming; establishing long-term, cooperative relationships with key ministries, donors, and partners; and building the competencies of local staff, networks, and organizations.
The Deputy Chief of Party reports to the Chief of Party (COP) and is responsible for technical leadership of the program.
The Finance & Administration Director is responsible for ensuring that the project functions efficiently and effectively in all financial, administrative, and operational matters. S/he ensures that the project consistently and correctly implements sound financial, contractual, and administrative operating systems, and that project activities are implemented in compliance with the USAID award regulations and with World Education/Bantwana policies. S/he collaborates with senior project and headquarters management staff, as well as with project partners, to implement approaches and procedures and address management issues. The Finance & Administration Director will report to the Chief of Party.
Reporting to the Chief of Party, the Social Welfare & Linkages Advisor will serve as the lead technical expert in social welfare service delivery to OVC and AGYW and advise program strategies around the integration of community and clinical service delivery with a focus on improving results towards “90-90-90”.
Reporting to the Chief of Party, the Clinical Services Advisor will oversee the design and coordination of programming to improve the quality of sexual reproductive health and HIV-focused clinical care, treatment, and support services for key populations, including Adolescents Living with HIV (ALHIV). S/he will ensure strong linkages with all other project components and interact closely with government institutions and other stakeholders.
The Monitoring, Evaluation & Strategic Information Advisor will report to the Chief of Party and is responsible for coordinating monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities under the award.
