VSO is a global voluntary organisation whose mission is to bring people together to fight poverty through the lasting power of volunteering.
We will be running a tender process with the intention of awarding a contract for the External Audit of the Gender Empowerment and Development to Enhance Rights (G.E.N.D.E.R) Cost Extension project being implemented in Southern Africa. The project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The audit is for the period 1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced / qualified Audit Firms.
- The audit service provider must be a registered auditing firm with the required professional competence and experience and a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
- The auditor should not, during the period covered by the audit nor during the undertaking of the audit, be employed by, serve as director for, or have any financial or close business relationships with any senior participant in the management of the VSO.
- The auditor must be able to assign a sufficient number of suitably experienced and capable staff to this project to ensure this deadline is met.
Expressions of interest: all expressions of interest must be received by VSO by 1 June 2018 - 5pm and must be submitted electronically (emailed) to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. The EOI must include a contact name, company name, company address, phone and email address.
Tender documents: tender documents will be sent to those who expressed an interest shortly after the close of the EOI period.
Anticipated contract start date: 16 July 2018
VSO reserves the right not to award a contract.
