The Constitutional Court Trust is a trust based on Constitution Hill in Braamfontein that supports the work of the Constitutional Court and the rule of law and constitutionalism generally in Southern Africa. The Trust seeks a Trust Manager on a one year part time contract ( one and a half days a week/ 6 days a month) to manage its programmes and provide strategic leadership in accordance with the directives of Trustees, who include Justices of the Court and other senior legal and other figures. The incumbent will provide financial and human resource management to all programmes, including the Court’s artworks collection.
Responsibilities: • Manage projects of the Trust • Manage and support staff • Oversee the preparation and implementation of budgets • plans and programme reports • fundraise, including preparation of funding proposals • build relations with external supporters and funders.
Requirements: • A degree in a relevant field • Minimum 5 years working experience at a senior level in an NGO or business environment • Demonstrated commitment to constitutional values
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills • Good interpersonal skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Understanding of the South African social context • Relevant IT/website skills • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record in leading and managing programmes.
