Knowledge Pele (KP) is a research and advisory company working in the renewable energy sector. As part of the Socio-economic Development programme (SE.ED) Work Experience Programme, KP is looking for organisations in the Johannesburg and Rustenburg area who would be interested in taking on a trainee at NO cost to the organisation for 12 months.
Knowledge Pele is a research and advisory firm that believes in Knowledge as the foundation for development. Our main goal is to be the leading source of granular information about under-privileged communities to guide the design of innovative and impactful social investments. We work within the renewable energy space, focusing on energy communities and their subsequent development post the build of various renewable energy plants. Knowledge Pele has been tasked with the design and implementation of holistic community development programmes,of which the intern placement programme is a response.
As part of the Socio-economic Development programme (SE.ED) Work Experience Programme, KP is extending expressions of interest to NGOs in the Johannesburg and Rustenburg area looking to take on a trainee at no cost to the organisation. The programme covers all stipends, accommodation, travel and relocation fees if required for 1 full year.
Any opportunity for interns to contribute in the areas of Office Admin, finance, event coordination/planning, project coordination, etc. would be ideal!
In exchange for providing this resource for 1 year, partner organisations would be required to ensure:
- Beneficiaries have true opportunities to contribute to the company
- Partner companies provide a structured learning process for the beneficiaries (to be developed in collaboration with Knowledge Pele)
