REPSSI’s vision is that all girls, boys and youth have the right to enjoy psychosocial and mental wellbeing. REPSSI has strong partnerships with governments (particularly the ministries responsible for social services, education and health), development partners, international organisations and NGOs in thirteen countries of East and Southern Africa. 

REPSSI seeks to appoint a Driver / Admin Support to be based in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will transport REPSSI staff, board members and partners on REPSSI assignments.  


  • Ensuring adherence to safety rules
  • Exercising courtesy with the travellers as they are transported, office support such as deliveries and collection of goods, banking and small handyman work
  • Assist with all logistics and equipment requirements during field visits, workshops and events as required
  • Check the condition of a vehicle's tyres, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order
  • Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Follow safety rules as passengers’ board and exit the vehicle
  • Keep vehicle clean for passengers
  • Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures
  • Pick up and drop off staff regularly at airports, neighbourhood locations, following strict time schedules and occasionally take staff or deliveries to close neighbouring countries within the 400km radius such as Lesotho, Swaziland and Mozambique
  • Prepare and submit reports that may include (trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.)
  • Report any vehicle malfunctions or repairs needed
  • Ensure that the vehicle licenses, insurance and maintenance schedules are adhered to
  • Support admin activities such as banking, procurement by getting quotations, maintaining inventory of manuals, changing bulbs and ensuring that office surroundings are maintained in a clean condition
  • Provide field support as requested by the programme officers during field visits
  • Support logistics and equipment requirements preparations for workshops and events


  • High school certificate
  • Class 8 Driving license
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, to control operations of vehicle equipment or systems, and to monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure the vehicle is working properly
  • Previous experience of working with REPSSI is an added advantage
