Mould Empower Serve (MES) is a Christian organisation giving services to the community.

MES seeks to appoint a Training Centre Manager to be based in Hillbrow, Johannesburg.

Salary: R17 000 to R20 000

MES is looking for a dedicated, committed and self-motivated person to appoint as a Training Manager at the Training Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective management running of the programme through undertaking managerial, administrative and other functions and providing support to the training centre staff
  • Improve skills development points for the B-BBEE compliance
  • Ensure legislative compliance - B-BBEE reporting and WSP / TR
  • Ensure statutory compliance - compliance to SETA's, Skills Development Legislation, B-BBEE criteria as well as Industry Associations and Regulations
  • Get the training centre accredited with the main SETA
  • Aligning training material with SETA standards
  • Extending the escope to the other SETAs
  • Registering Assessors and Moderators
  • Coordinate, monitor and facilitate the training centre, ensuring the needs of the clients are met
  • Identify training and development needs of the staff with HR
  • Assist with recruitment, interviews and induction of prospective staff and volunteers
  • Compiling, Monitoring and Evaluating reports as required

Requirements:

  • Be an educator at heart with passion for Skills Development
  • Have Christian values lived out with integrity
  • Dedicated committed and self-motivated person
  • Ability to manage the staff efficiently
  • Ability to engage with Hillbrow community
  • Presentation Skills
  • Report writing and proposals
  • Tertiary qualification in the Education and Training field
  • Be a registered SDF (Skill Development Facilitator)
  •  At least three years' experience in the Training / FET environment
  • Experienced in corresponding and dealing with SETA's
  • Knowledge of the Skills Development Framework
  • Be able to claim discretionary grants and project funding
  • Understanding of B-BBEE concepts and processes
  • Drivers Licence
