Scope of Role
The Thematic Specialist (TS) will be responsible for providing hands on Child Protection technical programme quality as well as advisory and capacity building support to Save the Children International Regional and Multi Country Migration/Children on the move portfolio including support to participating Country Offices in East and Southern Africa. S/he will contribute to the overall quality implementation of the regional Children on the Move programmes (funded through SC Italy and SC Sweden) and as well as the other cross cutting themes relevant for the successful implementation of the same programme. Accordingly, the TS is expected to work in close coordination and cooperation with other Save the Children thematic advisors and the Child protection initiative in related thematic areas including developing integrated programming and ensuring mainstreaming of cross-cutting issues.
