BOOKKEEPER (Nelspruit)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving project supporting documents from the projects weekly;
  • Bookkeeper must control the received documents for completeness and communicating any missing documents;
  • Capture the complete and accurate transactions into the PASTEL accounting system. This  are all the transactions at project level;
  • Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations for the Project.
  • Review and ensure timely settlement of receipts for cash advances;
  • Alert the supervisor of any challenges from, or with the Project on financial management
  • Responsible for ensuring all relevant information entered or correspondence with the donor partner is maintained on a respective file for the donor
  • Responsible for ensuring that monthly reports are reviewed for data quality, and work directly and promptly with the Project leader to correct any inaccuracies. This includes the enforcing of the submission of necessary information by Project Leader.
  • Highlighting the project’s opportunities for improvement and assisting in the Budget correction process
  • Maintain record of weekly document receipts from the projects and communicate and rectify where delays occur;
  • Provide training and support to the cashiers and project leaders on specific requirements;
  • Assist the Project Finance Manager/Accountant with the preparation of monthly status report on the Project ;
  • Provide quarterly support for internal auditors’ requirements
  • Provide year-end support of external auditors requirements, which may include vouching and reconciliations;

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting Diploma or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years working experience in finance required
  • Pastel accounting knowledge a MUST
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
  • Ability to work on own, while still partaking in close team environment
  • Excellent numeracy, written and oral communication
  • Emotional intelligence, high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations will be an added advantage.

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 5 years working experience in finance required
  • Pastel accounting knowledge a MUST
  • Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations will be an added advantage.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER (Nelspruit)
Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing prices for goods/services
  • Purchase a wide variety of materials, supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that goods purchased are to specification in terms of the quality , quantity and delivery and to advise on those suppliers who fail to meet specification requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree Diploma in Supply Chain or Procurement Management
  • Supplier Relations Management experience

Experience Required:

  • 3 years experience in procurement
  • Supplier Relation Experience Experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to write and communicate in English

4X Survellance Environmental Officers (2 x Limpopo , 2x Mpumalanga)
Key Responsibilities;

  • Ability to conduct inspections and audits and produce thorough, readable and informative reports
  • Ability to apply intergrated environmental management tools
  • Monitor all environmental aspects
  • Undertake research related to infrastructure
  • Identify and communicate environmental related problems, hazards and risks
  • Conduct risk assessments and come up corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma with a specialisation in environmental management

Experience Required:

  • 3 – 5 years experience in environmental Management
  • Experience in environmental Impact Assessment
  • Experience in environmental auditing

Key Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of relevant environmental policies, legislations, guidelines and standards
  • Good interpersonal Skills , written , verbal and presentation Skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work underpressure
  • Ability and willingness to travel
