Pledger Africa, an innovative non-profit organisation concerned with using information and communication technologies (ICT) to leverage community resources. Being a nonprofit organisation with a commitment to transparency, accountability and best practice, Pledger Africa is governed by a board of passionate individuals.
Pledger Africa seeks to appoint an Intern, based in Johannesburg.
Start Date: 3 October 2016
This is not a full-time position and Interns who live in Johannesburg are preferred, although candidates from other parts of South Africa will be considered as most of the work can be achieved remotely. The Intern will be required to give a maximum of 10 hours of support per week, which will include (but is not limited to):
- Data collection capture;
- Write-ups;
- Social media posting;
- Email support;
- Events.
Although this is not a paid position, the Internship is planned for a period of 6 months. Thereafter, we are hoping to be able to extend the Internship to a paid position within the organisation.
