Afrika Tikkun is an international NGO that provides education, health and social services to children, youth and their families through centres of excellence in South African Townships. Its aim is to empower communities to develop new generations of productive citizens.

Afrika Tikkun seeks to appoint a Manager - Primary Health Care (DOH Programme), based in Mfuleni, Delft and Eersterivier, Western Cape.

Responsibilities: 

  • Management of Team responsible for the following: 
  • Administration of the Contract;
  • Liaison with the Department of Health;
  • Financial Management;
  • Human Resource Management;
  • Training and development;
  • Record keeping;
  • Writing of reports;
  • Monitoring and Evaluation including Data collection;
  • Research;
  • Fundraising.

Requirements: 

  • Diploma in Program Management will be an advantage;
  • Financial qualification will be an advantage;
  • Nursing qualifications will be an advantage;
  • Management of large staff groups (Hospital Matron);
  • General administration and Financial Controls;
  • Community Involvement;
  • Strong Principled Management style;
  • A proven track record of successful team management on level 2.
