Salary for Location London: £39,099 per annum
Salary For Location Johannesburg: R 489 707per annum
Salary for Location: Nairobi: £36,035 per annum

As Learning and Capacity Development Coordinator you will support the development and roll-out of a capacity building strategy and management system which will enable us to achieve our mission and goals.
Working closely with HR colleagues and Country Coordination Team Leaders you will assess needs and identify core competency requirements – and develop learning resources. You will help build a learning culture and promote a ‘blended’ learning approach. This will involve ensuring that L&D is fully integrated into performance management processes and the employee life cycle. You will also lead a network of L&D practitioners providing advice and guidance across the organisation. Important too will be the development a project group tasked with introducing and developing coaching and mentorship within ActionAid International.
A graduate in a relevant discipline you will have extensive training and capacity development experience in a multi-cultural organisation. This will have given you expertise in learning planning, development and delivery, and will include creating and implementing e-learning strategies. We would expect you to hold and Advanced Certificate in Learning & Development Management and be certified in online/e-learning. You will be comfortable working with the structure and dynamics of a federal organisation and be fluent in English.
