Community Cohesion is a victim empowerment NGO funded by the VEP division of the Western Cape DSD that falls under the DSD's Social Crime Prevention Programme.  We are a small, efficient team of self-managed professionals consisting of two other Social Workers, one Social Auxiliary Worker and eight Counsellors. The organisation is currently present in Hout Bay, Ocean View, Masiphumelele, Fish Hoek, Simonstown, Sun Valley and Red Hill. 

Community Cohesion seeks to appoint a Social Worker, based in Fish Hoek and work in the field in Simonstown and Ocean View, Cape Town.

The person will be required to be in the field, do home visits and design clients therapuetic intervention including assigning a Counsellor from our organisation specific to clients’ needs.  Knowledge of English and Afrikaans is required as well as own transport.
