Molo Mhlaba Schools
Molo Mhlaba Schools, is a non-profit organization that supports young girls with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths) education, early literacy development, physical health education and outreach programmes in the Khayelitsha community. The Molo Mhlaba Schools is a philanthropic venture that will establish and manage a network of low fee, independent private schools in underserved urban communities across South Africa. Our first campus, based in Harare (Khayelitsha) was established in 2018 and serves over 100 girls with STEAM education combined with Montessori philosophy. We are growing to a second campus in the next 12 months and are consolidating our model’s best practice, lessons learnt and curriculum that we will need for our expansion plans.
Molo Mhlaba invites suitable qualified consultants or organisations for a short-term contract to submit a bid for the knowledge mapping, curriculum development and assessment of a STEAM based curriculum in the Montessori prepared classroom environment. The LINK provides further information on the submission requirements. The maximum budget available is R 75 000.
