Technical Advisor (TA): Conditional Grants (Job ID: 16328)
FHI 360 is seeking a Conditional Grants TA to support National Treasury for a USAID funded Capacity Development & Support (CDS) programme in South Africa to provide technical assistance to the National Treasury health directorate in the areas of performance information, costing, HIV & AIDS and TB, financing public entities reform and monitoring of provincial health issues.
Knowledge and experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the health sector, public administration, Department of Health and/or health public entities will be an added advantage; Proven experience in providing technical assistance including analyzing data, drafting reports and presentation skills to stakeholders; Provide support to the directorate in other areas such as, including the budget process, expenditure monitoring, infrastructure, donor funding, general policy work, and internal performance monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in health economics, public health, economics, development studies, public policy or related field. A Master’s degree in health economics will be preferred.
