Vuleka: Dealing with the Pain
The notion of a 'rainbow nation' describes and acknowledges the diversity of our people - we are a people of colours, languages, of histories and with stories to tell
For many, this is only possible after confronting our inherited prejudices and bias, and after dealing with the pain and hurt many of us have experiences as a result or our structural injustices.
The Vuleka experience awakens in each of us the possibility that we can live together more peacefully and gently, embracing, rather than denying - our diversity. This workshop addresses the many structures in society which continue to perpetuate racism and other injustices and offers a safe space and natural process towards healing the pain associated with bias, prejudice and other injustices.
This is the last workshop in the series and deals with the memories that have been stirred up from the past and/or assist others who are looking for ways to deal with the pain and hurt arising from our experience.
This three day workshop is a shared residential course that cost R3,000 pp and is inclusive of meals and materials. (A 50% discount is offered to NGO and FBO delegates.)
Should you require assistance in meeting these costs please contact:
