US$1.2mn USAID funds for HIV/Aids projects

Pact Community REACH, a five-year, USAID-funded program aimed to facilitate grant funds to NPOs involved in the fight against HIV/Aids is awarding a total of US$1.2mn in funds and invites applications from organisations with projects working with the positive prevention, care and support for people living with HIV/Aids. Key application requirements include:
- the implemenation of proposed project(s) in one or more of the following ten countries: Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Guyana, Haiti, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia; and
- that applicants be local, indigenous NPOs implementing local, national or regional HIV/AIDS activities.
