It is really good to know

It is really good to know that the unemployment rate is somehow slowing down which is a good sign that the economy is recovering. But still, the effects of recession is still evident. There's a lot of press coverage dedicated to a credit crunch. Well, there is one – banks are less willing to lend to anyone, meaning there is a credit crunch, and so if you need some short term credit, banks will be less willing to help you out. There are a lot of job losses, and that means not everyone can pay them back. Well, there are other options – you could look into payday loans. Payday loans are short term loans for small amounts that you pay back quickly, usually your next payday. Some lenders can use direct deposit – that's one of the payday loan benefits – so if you feel the credit crunch, try filling out a personal loan application.
Amid a furore over the news of a decline in South Africa's unemployment rate to 21.9 percent, Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) says that the lower rate is statistically correct.

Executive manager of Household Labour Market Statistics at Stats SA, Yandiswa Mpetsheni, points out that it is only construction growth of eight percent, 0.9 and 0.4 percent across the Quarterly Employment Statistics, Gross Domestic Product and quarter labour force survey that is statistically significant.

She noted that the major sector that added to jobs is the government sector, adding that two-thirds of the 189 000 new jobs were elementary jobs, also known as unskilled labour.
