Three SABC Board Members Resign

Three South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Board members, former presidential spokesperson, Bheki Khumalo, Andile Mbeki and Desmond Golding, have resigned with immediate effect.

In a joint press statement, they point out that, "We are mindful of the enormity of the challenges that are currently facing the SABC.”

The states that, "We are of the firm view that it is in the public interest to resign.
