The South African National Editors' Forum (SANEF) has condemned alleged death threats made against the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) journalists.
In a press statement, it notes that, "SANEF condemns the attack on the SABC 2 weather presenter Tshidi Diphoko and the death threats against SABC political reporters Miranda Strydom and Sophie Mokoena."
SANEF, which states that it is deeply concerned about the safety of journalists, says 91 reporters had been killed world-wide in 2007 while six had been killed on duty this year.
